Janet Walker is the CEO and founder of Pulse Point Productions, Inc. She manages the day-to-day operations of the Publishing and Documentary divisions and is Publisher and Executive Editor for Haute Lifestyle.
Ms. Walker's entertainment career began studying at New York University with Broadway actor, Catherine Russell of the long running Broadway play The Perfect Crime. She continued her study, privately, with Penny Templeton and was admitted in the fall of 1998 to Circle In The Square Theater School, an acceptance by audition only program.
Her first audition, in 1995, was for famed New York director Martin Scorsese and long-time collaborator Robert DeNiro for the role of Broadcast Journalist in the film Casino. This resulted in post-production work.
She is a two time Pulitzer Prize nominated writer. Her investigative series, Cops Conspire to Deep Six Sex Assaults and Conspiracy to Cover Sex Assaults were submitted for On-line Breaking News and are based on an on-going investigation into a series of heinous sexual assaults committed in Hudson County, NJ and the subsequent cover-up. She was the first journalist to break the story of Victim X and the only journalist to cover the explosive story while laboring to maintain the confidentiality of the Victim’s identity.
Her fifteen-year publishing history includes news, fashion, food, philanthropy, celebrity interviews and entertainment writing in print, newspaper, magazine and online. She has covered all things New York from the Tribeca Film Festival to the lights on Broadway and iconic Donald Trump to fashion and celebrity photographer Nigel Barker. She is quoted frequently in media and entertainment articles and as an authority in film and fashion. She has received mention as far away as New Zealand. She continues to maintain a New York beat and her "around the town" features can be found on the LA based Splash Magazines Worldwide. She will continue to write interesting "around the town" features and business interviews for Haute-Lifestyle and Five Star Food & Wine.
She will oversee all day-to-day operations of the Publishing and Documentary divisions and will seve as Executive Editor for Haute-Lifestyle.com and Five Star Food & Wine.com.
